Privacy notice

This notice explains what personal data MediaConcepts collects through mediaconcepts.com, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. It covers this website only — not data we hold under a separate contract with a client.

Who we are

MediaConcepts Pte Ltd is the data controller for information submitted through this site. You can reach us about anything in this notice at hello@mediaconcepts.com.

What we collect, and why

We do not buy contact lists, and we do not use your details for automated decision-making or profiling.

Our legal basis

For the two forms, our basis is your consent — you tick the box before submitting, and you can withdraw it at any time by emailing us. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

For website analytics, our basis is legitimate interest in understanding how the site performs.

Who else sees it

We use three service providers to run the forms and measure the site. Each acts on our instructions and none of them sells your data.

• HubSpot — our CRM and website analytics. Enquiries are stored here so we can manage the conversation. HubSpot also sets the cookie described below. Data is held in the EU.
• Formspree — delivers form submissions to us by email as a backup, so an enquiry is not lost if the CRM is unavailable.
• Google Analytics — measures how the site is used: which pages are viewed, how visitors arrived, and roughly where in the world they are. It sets its own cookies, described below. We do not send it your name or email address.

We will also disclose information if the law requires it.

Cookies

HubSpot sets a cookie (hubspotutk) that gives your browser an anonymous identifier. If you later submit a form, it lets us see which pages led to the enquiry.

Google Analytics sets cookies beginning _ga to tell repeat visits apart and group page views into sessions.

Both are analytics cookies rather than advertising ones, and neither is used to build a profile of you or to target ads. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, and the site works normally without them.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as there is an active conversation or a live commercial relationship, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you get back in touch. If you ask us to delete your details, we will.

International transfers

We operate from the UK and Singapore, with team members in Canada, the Philippines and India. Where personal data is accessed from outside the UK or EEA, we rely on the standard contractual clauses our providers have in place.

Your rights

If you are in the UK or EEA, you can ask us to:

• give you a copy of the data we hold about you;
• correct anything that is wrong;
• delete it;
• restrict or object to how we use it;
• transfer it to another provider.

Email hello@mediaconcepts.com and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. If you are in Singapore, the equivalent authority is the Personal Data Protection Commission.

Changes

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page.
